This vacancy is open to academic scholars with research interest in the area of Sport management. This full-time permanent position requires that the successful candidate deliver cross-campus lectures across all levels and supervise research students.

 

Requirements

 

  • A PhD in Sport Management or complementary field
  • Demonstrated and proven research and teaching experience
  • Must have been published in relevant peer-review publications
  • A proven experience with the business community to develop research and learning opportunities.
  • Previous experience securing external research funding will be an added advantage

 

What they expect from the successful candidate

 

If successful you will be expected to plan, develop, research, and deliver lectures in Sport Management while maintaining an innovative and flexible approach to learning and teaching.

 

Some of the courses you would be expected to contribute to include:

 

  • Foundations of International Sport Management
  • Critical Issues of Sport and Exercise
  • Sport Event Management
  • Sport in the Social Context
