Job Description

As a fellow within the School of Chemical Engineering, you will assist Dr. Bronwyn Laycock and Associate Professor Steven Pratt in the research work on a catalytic process for sustainable diesel production from waste.

 

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the development of the “circular economy” program within the faculty.

 

Requirements

 

The successful fellow must satisfy the following requirements:

 

  • Must possess a PhD in Materials engineering.
  • Demonstrable experience managing industry-centered research
  • Ability to coordinate research programs
  • Effective relationship management skills which will be needed to represent and promote discipline at university and community level which include government, industry and professional bodies.
  • Knowledge of pretreatment of wood and plastics for downstream processing is an added advantage.
