Bitterleaf also known as Veronia Amygdalina in scientific parlance is an aborigine of Africa. It can be cooked, juiced or chewed raw. Regular consumption of this vegetable helps to regulate blood cholesterol levels which is a risk factor for heart attack and stroke.
